BARBELL CLASSES

For those looking to train and perfect their barbell movements, look no further! In this class you will train JUST the barbell. We maintain a focus on power lifts (squats, deadlifts, presses) and speed lifts (snatch and clean & jerk). 

Between gaining strength in your numbers, breaking down the movements to hone in on your technique, and providing drills to create good habits (or break bad habits), you are guaranteed to benefit from this! ON-RAMP PROGRAM

Our on-ramp program is required for any new members (with OR without crossfit experience) and is booked through our ONLINE BOOKING page. 

STEP 1-  Book your 1-on-1 consultation with one of our available Coaches  HERE. They will go over goal setting, nutrition information, give you a tour of our facility, and go over what to expect when you meet with your coach.

Once we've completed the consultation and assessment,  we can come up with the best game plan to help you get started on the right track!

SWEAT 30 CLASSES

This class is perfect for anyone looking to get in and out quickly, those looking to get started to build a base level of fitness with simple movement, or those who are simply not interested in heavy weights.

Our Sweat 30 is a 30 minute HIIT style class.  We incorporate cardio movements (jump rope, rowing, running, sleds etc) with bodyweight conditioning (push-ups, squats, lunges, box jumps etc) mixed with light free weights such as dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls etc).

Classes can be purchased one at a time, or through a monthly membership.

MASSAGE & CUPPING APPOINTMENTS

Our on-site massage therapists both offer a great variety of options to choose from whether it be a deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, or couples massage, we offer it all! Book your 30 or 60 minute deep tissue sports massage with our special Parallax member pricing. We also offer cupping sessions for only $5.00!

 

Not a member? No worries, we accept appointments from all!

HANDS ON STRETCHING APPOINTMENTS

The hands on stretching approach brings another level to your recovery. If you're mobility just isn't great, or you have that one nagging hip or hamstring tightness, we can help you fix it!

 

Francis Cuomo​ is a Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Stretching/Flexibility Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He is also a  licensed massage therapist.

KIDS GYMNASTICS & NINJA CLASSES

Our Ninja classes run twice per week and are a great way for your ninja to practice climbing, swinging, jumping, landings and MORE!  Click below for our schedule and booking options!

For ages 1-12, Our kids gymnastics program is led by Coach Rachel. Rachel began gymnastics at the age of 3 and competed through her college years at Division 1 Kent State University. Also, she's  been coaching gymnastics since the age of 13, and a Crossfit coach/gym owner for the past 8 years! She has taught numerous gymnastics seminars in the tristate area, & loves helping others see the fun in this sport. Click below for our schedule and booking options!

ON SITE NUTRITION COACHING

Our in house certified nutrition coaches are on site at Parallax to help you create healthy nutrition habits. This one on one coaching includes custom meal plans, Inbody scans and so much more. We can personalize a plan to fit your goals and needs. This includes parents on the go, athletes who want to enhance their work performance or busy individuals on the go! We make nutrition easy and simple to create life long healthy habits. 

 

To cater to your specific needs, we offer 4 different monthly options for nutrition coaching. We understand that one template does NOT fit all, so we have flexibility with our memberships that enable us to meet you where you are!

OPEN GYM

Open gym time is available for anyone looking to put in the extra time and effort. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to get in their "Extra Strength" that's offered under the daily WOD, each day. This is in addition to the Barbell Club assignments.

 

There will ALWAYS be a coach available during these time slots for guidance, spotting, or just an extra set of eyes. Check the schedule for our OPEN GYM times!

COMPETITIVE PROGRAMMING

Are you looking to take your training to the next level? Are you feeling the itch to compete at a higher level and be successful in doing so? Well you've come to the right place. Crossfit Parallax has a relatively extensive line of high level competitors. Between multiple individual and team Regional qualifiers, to Masters Athletes 40, 50 or 60+ we've had it all. Not to mention more than 1 Professional GRID league members. If you're looking to increase your volume, work on your weaknesses and take the next step, your programming will need to change.

BABYSITTING

In our brand new kids room, upon appointment, we offer on-site babysitting during almost any class time. We have a TV, wii and x-box available in addition to games and crafts for entertainment.
